Paula is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain). She has broad experience providing individual, family and couples therapy.

Counselling is a collaborative process where the counsellor and client work together to develop perspective and understanding. She tailors therapy according to each client’s needs, goals, and preferences, based on an integrative approach using multiple evidence-based modalities.
Paula acknowledges that the quality of our relationships and interactions with others can deeply impact our lives and our well-being throughout life. She tends to integrate Attachment-Based Theory to obtain an overall sense of the unique context of each client.
Her work focuses on building a safe relationship while providing a nurturing, compassionate, and non-judgemental environment.
