If you feel anxious, stressed, overwhelmed and feel that no one around you seems to understand, you are not alone. It can be very challenging to navigate day-to-day life while trying to make sense of this anxiety and stress. Many changes, including breaking up, divorce, job loss, and death of a loved one, can lead to feeling lost or stuck.
Trying to balance two cultures, where on one side are your family’s expectations and on the other are the Western world’s norms around dating, relationships, and work, can confuse identity and self-worth.
Let me help. I have experience working with clients, helping them navigate their feelings around stress, anxiety, relationships, and cultural differences using the psychodynamic approach. I use many techniques, including dream work, free associations, and CBT, to help you better understand yourself and gain control over your narrative.
As a South Asian, I also use a culturally responsive lens to promote healthy boundaries and self-care so that we can work together to explore our identity and self-worth. If you want to know more about my approach, please call or email me to book your free consultation.
