Sahar Tamadoni, MC, RCC

Many of the people I work with are the ones others rely on. They show up, hold everything together, and keep going—even when they’re carrying anxiety, trauma, grief, or exhaustion that often goes unseen.
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #25111) working in both private practice and forensic mental health. In my role with a Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team, I support individuals navigating complex trauma, substance use, severe mental health challenges, and justice system involvement. This work has shaped how I understand people—not as problems to fix, but as individuals adapting to overwhelming experiences, often without enough support.
My approach is both grounded and human. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, and EFT, but what matters most is how we work together. I aim to create a space where you don’t have to perform strength—where we can slow things down, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and begin to shift patterns in a way that feels real and sustainable.
As an immigrant, a mother, and someone who has rebuilt life and career in a new country, I understand resilience in a lived way. I bring cultural awareness, honesty, and steadiness into the room.
My role is not to fix you, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with clarity, strength, and a deeper sense of trust in yourself. I offer counselling in English, Dari, and Farsi, both in-person and virtually.
