Tanya Gill, RCC

Tanya Gill, M.Ed., RCC Registered Clinical Counsellor

With a background in both education and counselling, I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including secondary schools and private practice. My approach to counselling is grounded in empathy, cultural competency, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
I specialize in narrative therapy, which invites clients to explore and rewrite the stories that shape their lives. By examining the meaning they attach to their experiences, we can identify strengths, values, and opportunities for change. Additionally, I use a person-centred approach, providing a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to discover their own solutions.
My counselling practice is also firmly rooted in culturally competent therapy, which recognizes and honours the diverse cultural, social, and personal contexts that influence a client’s worldview. I am committed to understanding and supporting clients from all walks of life, fostering an inclusive and respectful therapeutic relationship.
Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, postpartum, fertility struggles or navigating life transitions, I am here to help you explore your options and find meaningful pathways forward. My goal is to guide you toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of well-being through compassionate, tailored support.
I believe that change is possible when we approach it with curiosity and care. If you’re ready to take that first step toward a more empowered and fulfilled life, I’d be honoured to work with you on your journey.
