Sessions with MANA have been instrumental to my mental health recovery and personal growth to the point where my opinion about counselling has shifted and I honestly would prefer to have weekly sessions for the rest of my life. I think it’s so valuable to have someone who you trust and who can help you decipher and navigate the obstacles that life presents. I have recommended these services to many of my friends already and Cannot say enough good things about mana. She is extremely wise, helpful and a blessing to my life I am continuously grateful for.

Dina is simply the best counsellor I’ve ever had. She has the ability to really dig deep into the emotions, grasp what’s happening beyond the surface, and connect the dots to help understand the bigger picture of what’s happening and how to face it. I’ve been to different counsellors before but I can truly see the positive impact of Dina’s practice. I can’t recommend her enough. She’s great!

Proven Approaches for Life Transition Therapy

Well Beings Counselling believes in scientifically proven approaches that foster resilience, emotional adaptability, and psychological growth during life transitions. Our experienced therapists use evidence-based methods such as cognitive reframing, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and solution-focused therapy to help individuals navigate significant life changes with clarity and confidence.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps individuals navigate life transitions by identifying cognitive distortions, reshaping core beliefs, and developing adaptive coping strategies.

At Well Beings Counselling, our licensed therapists trust in the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to support individuals experiencing significant life changes by integrating cognitive restructuring to reframe unhelpful thoughts and strengthen emotional resilience. The structured approach incorporates stress management techniques and behavioural activation strategies to promote a sense of stability and control. Cognitive therapy empowers individuals to move forward with confidence and emotional well-being by addressing deep-rooted cognitive patterns and reinforcing adaptive behaviours.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps individuals navigate life transitions by fostering psychological flexibility. It allows them to accept discomfort and align actions with personal values.

At Well Beings Counselling, our specialized therapists trust ACT for its ability to guide individuals through life transitions by promoting psychological flexibility, which allows them to respond to change with openness and adaptability. Our Licensed therapists assist individuals in identifying what truly matters to them through values clarification, providing direction and purpose during times of uncertainty. Incorporating cognitive defusion techniques and mindfulness practices, we help clients reduce experiential avoidance, enabling them to accept difficult emotions while embracing change with confidence and resilience.

Mindfulness-Based Approaches

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) helps individuals navigate life transitions by focusing on solutions, future goals, and strengths rather than dwelling on past challenges.

At Well Beings Counselling, our therapists trust SFBT for its ability to empower individuals during life transitions by focusing on goal setting and envisioning a preferred future through the miracle question. We use strengths exploration and exception finding to highlight moments of success and resilience, helping clients recognize their capabilities. Through scaling questions, our certified therapists work with individuals to measure progress and maintain momentum, ensuring they feel equipped and motivated to move through transitions with confidence and clarity.

Person-Centred Therapy

Person-centred therapy supports individuals through life transitions by fostering self-awareness, personal growth, and emotional well-being in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment.

At Well Beings Counselling, our therapists trust Person-Centred Therapy to help individuals navigate life transitions by providing a therapeutic space rooted in unconditional positive regard, where every experience is valued and respected. Our therapists build genuine connections through empathy and congruence, allowing clients to explore their emotions openly and develop a deeper understanding of their needs.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy externalizes personal challenges by separating identity from problems. It helps individuals navigate life transitions by reshaping dominant narratives into empowering alternative stories.

At Well Beings Counselling, our therapists utilize the transformative power of re-authoring life experiences, guiding individuals to reconstruct meaningful narratives that align with personal growth and resilience. Our licensed therapists create space for unique outcomes by challenging limiting beliefs and highlighting strengths, fostering a renewed sense of purpose during transitions.

Grief Counselling

Grief counselling supports individuals in navigating the bereavement process by fostering emotional expression, promoting loss adaptation, and guiding personal healing.

At Well Beings Counselling, our expert therapists believe in a compassionate, person-centred approach that acknowledges the complexities of grief while providing a safe space for healing. Our therapists help individuals process complicated grief by integrating memory preservation techniques that honor loved ones while facilitating emotional resilience. Through guided reflection and therapeutic dialogue, individuals regain a sense of meaning and connection, empowering them to move forward while holding onto cherished memories.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy uncovers unconscious processes shaped by childhood experiences. It helps individuals navigate life transitions by recognizing defense mechanisms and fostering emotional awareness.

At Well Beings Counselling, our therapists promote self-exploration to bring lasting change, allowing individuals to process unresolved emotions and patterns that influence current challenges. Our therapists facilitate insight development by examining relational dynamics, using transference to reveal hidden emotions and unconscious conflicts. Through reflective dialogue and emotional processing, individuals gain clarity, heal past wounds, and develop healthier ways to adapt to new phases of life.
