Sujaiya Tiba - Registered Psychotherapist, (Q)

Starting therapy can be overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to even consider this step. My hope is to offer a space that feels safe, grounded, and free of judgment, a space where you can show up exactly where you are, without needing to have it all figured out.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotion dysregulation, and low self-esteem. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of where to go next, I’m here to support you in exploring what’s holding you back and what might help you move forward.
As a South Asian immigrant myself, I understand how complex it can be to navigate emotional well-being while also holding cultural expectations and personal identity. I strive to bring a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens to therapy.
In our work together, you’ll lead the way. We go at your pace. My role is to walk alongside you, offering tools, reflections, and support tailored to your unique experiences. I draw on evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also bringing in elements of mindfulness and compassion-based strategies that help you reconnect with yourself more kindly. Above all, my goal for our work is to feel collaborative, respectful, and supportive, where you truly feel seen and heard.
