Agam Palta - Registered Psychotherapist, (Q)

You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and that’s perfectly understandable. In our work together, you’ll find a genuine, warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where your experiences and emotions guide the process. Whether you seek relief from stress, clarity around a difficult decision, or a deeper connection with yourself and others, I will walk alongside you with compassion, empathy, and genuine curiosity.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care. I draw primarily on cognitive behavioural therapy to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, emotion-focused therapy to deepen your emotional awareness and strengthen connections, and narrative therapy to empower you to reauthor the stories you tell yourself. Each session is tailored to your unique journey, ensuring practical tools and insights that resonate with your life.
Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and couples consisting of teens (13+), adults, and elders. I have supported a wide range of concerns, from relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma & PTSD, and substance abuse. Every therapeutic relationship I enter is built on collaboration. You are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to guide, challenge, and encourage you.
Taking that first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you never have to face it alone. If you’re ready to explore change, build resilience, and embrace personal growth, I’m here to listen and support you every step of the way. Reach out when you feel ready—I look forward to connecting with you.
