My name is Anousha, and I am an Iranian-Canadian therapist living in Ottawa. Various experiences studying, working and volunteering in Iran, Turkey, and Canada, all of which have contributed to my personal and professional education.
As a psychotherapist, I have worked cross-culturally with clients with various issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mood disorders, codependency issues, relationship issues, career guidance, coping skills, sexual abuse, personality disorders, life transitions and many other psychological problems.
I also worked with children, preteens and teens with cognitive disabilities, Autism, ADHD and psychological problems. Using a variety of approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Culturally Sensitive, Emotionally Focused, Humanistic, Integrative, Narrative, and Person-Centered.
