Nadia Oomer MC, RCC
My work has taught me to believe in my clients’ strengths and to work collaboratively with them. While the dialogue may be difficult at times, the goal for my clients is to work towards gaining renewed hope, a deeper understanding of themselves and a reason to carry on.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and have been working in the mental health and substance abuse sector for over eight years. I work with clients with a wide variety of psychological, health and life problems including those struggling with trauma, depression, grief and loss, addiction and relationship issues. I have a passion for connecting with people through counselling sessions nurtured by mutual trust and understanding. I love building relationships with clients and creating an environment that is open to discussing anything without judgement or shame.
Counselling is not about giving advice, it is about walking alongside people to help them see things they might be missing. My role is to be there at your side and guide you in your journey to become whatever you want to be. I hope our paths cross one day and that I get to an opportunity to work and grow with you.
