Rose McKenzie Registered Psychotherapist (Q)

I am grateful to join you on your healing journey. To me, healing means more than talking about feelings. It means exploring the whole person: spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and environmentally. While some topics may feel difficult to approach, I strive to offer a warm, welcoming space where no subject is too taboo.
My approach is holistic and informed by attachment, trauma, and addictions. I draw from modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals.
These approaches can help you better understand the different parts of yourself and begin healing emotional wounds from childhood through to the present. Having been on my own healing journey and worked in the mental health field for over four years, I understand that growth is ongoing.
I am committed to continued personal and professional development through clinical supervision and meaningful work with clients. I believe therapy is not only about being heard but also about building a genuine human connection that supports healing. I have experience working with diverse populations and supporting individuals navigating neurodiversity, borderline personality disorder, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating disorders, and trauma, including domestic and intergenerational trauma.
