Raissa H Mugisha MA, RP (Q)

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’ve been carrying difficult emotions, experiences, or relationship challenges on your own. My goal is to offer a warm, compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, feel truly heard, understood, supported and explore what matters most to you.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside you to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be affecting your well-being, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change.
My approach is integrative and client-centred, drawing from evidence-based therapies including CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, IFS, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I tailor my work to each person’s unique needs and goals, while respecting that every person, couple, and family has a unique story.
I support clients with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, identity struggles, traumas and life transitions. With couples and families, I focus on strengthening communication, emotional connection, and understanding. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can build resilience, develop healthier patterns, and feel more connected to themselves and one another.
