Dr. Mana Charkhandeh P.h.d, RCC
Dr. Mana draws from many therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma (EMDR), Hypnosis and Mindfulness approaches.
Dr. Mana (RCC) holds a Ph.D. in Clinical and Child Development Psychology, with over 15 years of clinical experience. She provides mental health evaluations and solution-focused counselling for her clients. Dr. Mana works with a variety of concerns, including depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, sleep disorders, suicide ideation, self-injury, relationship and family issues, grief and loss, domestic violence, sexual assault, adjustment issues for new immigrants and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Dr. Mana graduated from Iran and the University of Putra Malaysia. She recently moved to Vancouver from Toronto. She is fluent in both English and Farsi and offers counselling in both languages. Dr. Mana specializes in treating adults and teens who have a range of challenges related to emotion regulation, stress management and social and interpersonal skills. She also works with children and families, including birth, adoptive and foster families.
